Body Cam Transfer Manager is being designed for organizations that need a clear, repeatable process for copying camera footage to local storage, an external drive, a network share, or a NAS.

Planned workflow
- Select the connected camera or source folder
- Select the person or officer associated with the footage
- Choose all files or selected files and folders
- Review source, destination, file count, size, and free space before transfer
- Copy footage into person and date folders
- Verify the copied files before reporting success
- Optionally delete source files after a verified transfer
Planned administration and reporting
- Personnel management with active and inactive records
- Administrator and user permissions
- Protected network-share credentials
- Transfer progress, percentage, status, and estimated time
- Transfer logs and date-range reports
- Error reporting for disconnects, corrupted files, and failed operations
- Portable Windows deployment with trial and licensing support
Design goals
The software is intended to be easy to read, easy to operate, and careful with important files. Verification, clear confirmation screens, recoverable settings, and detailed transfer records are core priorities.
